"Although FLVS is totally dependent on the technology it uses to provide virtual courses to students around the globe, there seems to be a tendency towards the status quo instead of innovation. The workplace is wonderful and the people are open-hearted and honest. I enjoy working there, but I am looking for more of a technology-driven workplace."

"Working from home means I don't have to buy clothes, gas, lunches out, etc. But the best part is how well we get to know our students!"

"The students come first before anything else, so make sure you stress that."

What don't you like about working at Florida Virtual School?

"We haven't had a raise in two or three years and even though they're implementing the incentive (bonus) programs again this year, it doesn't change the fact that I can barely afford to live alone."
