Management has no integrity and supervisors will lie about anything. For pilots considering the academy, think twice before wasting your money. Go to a reputable college such as Purdue, Embry Riddle, or UND."

"Learned quite a bit of the basics of avionics, aircraft systems, flight planning, and aircrew procedures while working there."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Good if you're just beginning an avionics career. Bad if you want to grow or advance. A job here after ten years is terminal to your career."

What don't you like about working at FlightSafety International?

"Management underwent a significant change at the end of year six for me. Things became very hectic, less fun, and unprofessional. They adopted process engineering, and then bypassed the performance metrics while making the engineers spend hours a week sending tracking reports to micro-management."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Start over."
