Fleetwood Enterprises was a leading manufacturer of recreational vehicles and manufactured homes, which filed for bankruptcy and reorganization in 2010. Fleetwood Enterprises was founded in 1950 by John Crean. For many years, Fleetwood Enterprises was a major manufacturer in Southern California.

In 2009, Fleetwood Enterprises closed its long-standing recreational vehicle plant in Riverside, California. After completing bankruptcy and reorganization, the company was sold to American Industrial Partners Capital Fund IV LP.

It is headquartered in Riverside, CA, and is a subsidiary of Cavco Industries. Fleetwood Homes manufactures modular and mobile homes at seven locations in the United States, including Woodburn, OR, Riverside, CA, Nampa, ID, Waco, TX, Lafayette, TN, Douglas, GA, and Rocky Mount, VA.

Fleetwood RV is headquartered in Decatur, Indiana. The company currently employs 1,200 people, primarily at its manufacturing facilities in Decatur. They manufacture Class A gas and Class C diesel powered motorhomes. Fleetwood Homes is one of the nation's largest manufactured home builders. They employ approximately 1,000 people at one of their seven manufacturing plants.
