What do you like about working at Florida International University?

"Diversity at FIU is the best I've seen amongst other colleges and universities. Also, in terms of quality of employment, it averages with other universities in South Florida."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Do your homework... check to see the levels of rotation within the department and ask about turn-around. You don't want to be in a position where you start/end a job within a short period. Good luck!"

What don't you like about working at Florida International University?

"I do feel that there are undisclosed prejudices that limit NON-HISPANIC employees from professional growth at FIU. This has been an ongoing issue that the university fails to address and was recently sued for."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Equal pay for equal work. Micro-management towards managers and supervisor's especially when unnecessary raises are given based on personal interest verses employee recognition. Salary reviews of all mid-level and lower management; will help save a lot of money."
