"Fishnet is very strong in security services and has a unique position in the marketplace. New ownership and a new CEO has changed the culture. Once a quality oriented customer centric and aggressive company they have began to become more of a corporate machine. With a new CEO and board the company is going through some serious changes."

"I think a VAR attempting to do services is a mistake. The company is not geared for the long term sales cycle."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Looking back, working for this company was a setback for my career. There was no way to advance at FishNet. Stop being cheap. Cheap parties for employees, cheap meetings for sales teams. They try to get vendors and partners to pay for everything."

"Lots of growth potentiol. I was able to maintain the CRM for the Sales Team. I reported on a weekly basis to executives and salesteem of sales growth and pipeline"

"Ask alot of questions regarding territories and position coverage"
What don't you like about working at FishNet Security?
"They did not give me a chance in another position. When I asked for training on their products my immediate supervisor said no when I had already been planning on going to training in the first place"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Before laying someone off give because of overlapping positions after an acquisition why don't you see if there is another place they could fit into and train for."

"all commmission structures and saleries have been re-adjusted downward after I left."

"Didn't get enough local support in the last year as they could not retain good support staff"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Original management was great, but the company took 100MM VC funding in 2008 and then missed their forecast as a company. The VC's seized control leaving the management with only 10% ownership"
