"Outstanding benefits and one of the few employers left that I know of that offers a true pension program that is defined benefit, not defined contribution."

"Ask about morale, systems that support the department and when the salary freeze will be lifted."
What don't you like about working at Metrolink?
"Poor systems, lack up support from executive level for investing in upgrades.`"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Spend the money necessary for good systems and sufficient headcount to get the job done."

"Part of the challenge comes from the lack of information resources, not enough support from IT in Finance"

"Invest more in IT for Finance, the company is big and it needs it."

"One of the positives working for ECD is high visiblility I have with upper mgmt. This is a strength for working for a small company but publicly traded company. I have weekly, monthly, and qtrly financial presentations to Sr Mgmt along with daily interaction of business objectives and goals."
What don't you like about working at Energy Conversion Devices?
"As with a lot of companies in this current economy, the company is experiencing financial diffuculties. Job stability is priority one for me and my family."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Sr Mgmt needs to stick to their core vision of the company and not think short-sided with the current financial problems they are occuring. We are established player in a growing industry but are facing problems that most companies have encountered in the current envrionment."

"I enjoyed the people and the ability to see projects through to the end."

"It took a lot of people and meetings to make even small changes to processes."

"Make people accountable and let them do their job without requiring multiple meetings to get things changed."
