4FileMaker is a fantastic company to work for. There is a corporate culture that has job security and work/life balance as its core tenets, and the atmosphere is relaxed but diligent.The only drawback at FileMaker is that outside of the Product Development department, there isn't really an ability to move up. In the other departments of the company you find employees who have been at the company for many years, and there isn't turnover or growth to provide advancement opportunities.
3.9I've worked at FileMaker for over 7 years and it has a wonderful corporate culture and is a great work environment. My only complaint about the company is that unless you are on the software development team, there isn't much opportunity for advancement. The corporate culture is wonderful and the benefits are very good.
3.6I like that it is a very challenging place to work at so I'm surrounded by some of the smartest and best talents in the tech industries. It was a great opportunity for me to work with really dedicated people who genuinely believe in delivering a great product and use technology to make the world a better place. I also like the feeling that my work really matters and has an impact on the world. I like that it is a very fast paced environment. It enables me to build things and learn faster.
