"I don't have any suggestions for management. I had an excellent director."

"What I like is the ability to promote the college and motivate the students to attain their Degree."

"The key is to know how to motivate people to sell. $$$$$$$$$$$"

"Normally, this is a lucrative job; unfortunately, this company does not pay well."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Sales Managers are motivated by money. Please pay us more money."

What do you like about working at Universal Technical Institute?

"You were honestly rewarded for effort and performance and company believed in you."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Give sales people more channels of communication and more people to report to than one person, I felt problems were never properly addressed as they never made it up the proper channels and were expected to be dealt with only one manager above you, the problem was what if he wasn't capable of handling it, overwhelmed or not passing on the feedback he was given"

What don't you like about working at Universal Technical Institute?

"Sales reps were very isolated as to interacting with anyone else but their manager. Although we worked in a region and had regional goals we never worked as a team and only individually through a manager attempted to work with 16 diffrent people on a daily basis but whom he only saw face to face twice a year."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Much of the management was asked to leave do to resent restructuring, persoally I felt although economic conditions were difficult a big part of the company's inability to hold it together was based on promotion with in based on nepotism and not qualified candidates. I only wish I would have interviewed for a management position and not a sales position as many people in management had no or little outside sales experience aside from working at uti."
