"I worked for Fidelity for a total of 10 years and would be there today if it were not for budget constraints. While at Fidelity, I held a number of positions; strengthening my skills set and knowledge base. I was given all the chances to do more. I just didn't have the time. The decision to lay me off was a business decision that needed to be made. I probably would have been asked to relocate if I had stayed. The relocation would not have been good for my family."
"I've worked for Fidelity Investments for over 20 years. The working environment is challenging but rewarding. I'd have to say the one thing that stands out is the one firm culture: everyone has important projects to do, but we all help each other. The senior management leaders are brilliant, competent and are great motivators. It is a privilege to be employed there."
"Fidelity shows all the signs of being a non public company. Many try to just sit out their jobs to retirement. Not a fun place to work and the corporate culture is very boring. It's difficult to get much done in this environment."
"I have worked at Fidelity Investments for 8 years and I would not recommend it to anyone. The management is horrible and provides little leadership, there is no direction, guidance or career growth. Any concerns that are brought up are met with the response don't rock the boat. A lot of unhappy people."
"Fidelity is a great company to work for. I loved the working environments, and people that I worked with."
"Good company with good benefits.Everything is well structured."
"Great working environment and atmosphere, a lot of training and learning opportunities. However, bureaucracy is inevitable in such a big corporation. I personally prefer more fast paced, more diversified and challenging position in a more dynamic industry."
"I worked for Enterprise Processing Services for 11 years. Solid leadership, good work environment, excellent pay. I was very fulfilled in my operations management roles."
"It is a great company and lots of commitment to staying ahead in technology."
"Fidelity compensates very well, but the workplace environment can be difficult if you don't have the right attitude."
