"If you want to be busy and feel a part of something important and useful, this might not be the place for that."

What don't you like about working at Federal Election Commission?

"The folks doing most of the work are contractors. I am not sure what many of the IT staff actually do. It feels dishonest."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Either get employees current on the skills needed so we can save money by ending the numerous contracts or release the employees with outdated skills and leave one or two key COTR (Contracting Officer Technical Representatives) to oversee the contractors."
