"I worked for Fallbrook Technologies as a Product development intern in between semesters. The application and interview process was seamless, and everyone involved in the process was very kind and professional. I had the opportunity to work on multiple projects, so I gained a variety of knowledge and skills while working there. Every employee was courteous, professional, and very knowledgeable in their area. Overall, I would recommend this company if your are looking for an internship opportunity."
"I worked at Fallbrook for 3 years. The work is challenging, complex (international, multi-industry, huge variety in customers), but personally rewarding. It's rare to find such a keen team. The company is a lean small business. It's not a startup where you have 'get in on the ground level' career advancement opportunities, and given the relative excellent employees, it's competitive to achieve relative promotions. Management has created a licensing business that attempts to do everything (international fundraising, marketing and sales, law, operations, research, development, M&A). It's a bit crazy but cool and impressive, and exciting to be a part of. Total compensation is above average. Flexible hours and schedules. No matching 401K."
"Work time flexibility is good, while hours can be long. The work itself, from an engineering POV, is interesting and enjoyable. Vacation and sick days are fairly generous. Pay is mediocre. Morale is very low for a variety of reasons, primarily management. There is a huge trust gap between staff and upper management, while most middle managers lie somewhere between cluelessly ineffective and dismissively arrogant. Another reviewer mentioned cheesy HR. This and more corp-speak laden memos and meetings are their only answer to an increasingly disaffected staff. I wouldn't recommend working here."
