"I have worked for ExtrudeHone for almost 15 years. They laid me off due to the covid. They apparently had to cut overhead and cost, so they let the experience go. They also let 12 more people go as of last month. I do not like where the company is headed with the current management."

"I worked for Extrude Hone since 2008, in various positions. Over that time period, there had been 5 different management teams, which has kept the company from getting any traction in the industry. The latest management team is a small group of inexperienced people that have no respect for the people performing the day to day tasks. The most recent CEO has been let go and he did not last even 2 years. Extrude Hone is a very good company with very good products & technology if they could only get a good management team."

What do you like about working at Extrude Hone?

"I enjoyed 2 things about working for Extrude Hone; 1-I was able to spend a little extra time to ensure my documentation was detailed and clear for new employees to follow along step-by-step for future support, and 2-I was able to watch the Watchguard Firewall logs so I could see when someone was trying to hack into the network."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be yourself and have a good time. The Extrude Hone employees were always the most friendly and helpful people I had ever worked with."

What don't you like about working at Extrude Hone?

"I was always missing the fun stuff, since it was a learning environment, and the other Intern always worked the morning shift, by the time I came in to work, most of the cool jobs were already completed. I was at least able to read about it in the daily logs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The company should have thought about securing the network down further with proxy filters on the Watchguard to ensure that the clients were not causing infections by visiting unauthorized sites via company Computer Use Protocols."
