"More flexibility with telecommuting options. Downtown Bellevue is not the ideal location to work. Very expensive to live here."

"It was the most volitile environment that I have worked for. I would not recommend it to anyone."

"Stop, take a breath and really look at how you mange projects. This was the worst Project Management infrastructure to mange projects that I had ever seen. No clear processes, so real authority."

"As long as you don't mind entering into a culture where people are more focused on doing things their own way instead of the right way...you'll fit right in. Too much political in-fighting.but it that is your thing, Expedia is the place for you!"

"Less value was given to an employee's skills, capability and ability to deliver but rather more emphasis is placed on who you know. As long as you were able to secure someone in Sr Mgmt as a regular drinking buddy, your job was/is in jeopardy..especially in IT."

"Need to view employees as a company's only appreciating asset. Instead, there are repeated efforts to step over a dollar to pick up a dime at the employee's expense."

"Be prepared for an extremely faced paced environment with a fair amount of 'thrash'."

"The leadership changes have proven challenging. My former VP was amazing and I was learning a lot from him. I was very sad to see him leave."

"The company lacks vision, may not be keeping up with the competition, there is way too much politics, and the bar for quality people is not high enough"

"No vision, so morale suffered, and it was difficult to keep focus on delivery. There was an enormous amount of energy put into annual plans that were not followed. Office politics were very challenging."

"Create and promote a unifying vision of the company, work hard to get employees behind the vision, raise the bar on hiring, move focus from beating the street to excelling at delivering a great customer experience."

"If you like to innovate, don't go there - you will bang your head against the wall with frustration"

"Much more time was spent in analysis rather than in actually getting stuff done. Far too many ex-McKinsey consultants who made mountains of work for little return."

"Get rid of the head of marketing. Do whatever I could to lessen office politics so that good people are retained."

"Oftentimes the approach to our work is pretty academic rather than realistic"

"Drive for more collaboration and get more directly involved in the work being done."

"Great people! Casual. Easy to fit in and get to working."

"Show enthusiasm and intelligence. Go into the interview with a clear thought on what type of job suits you best. I was called regarding my application for one role and by being upfront about my skills and desires they actually recommended me for and offered me a different role that suited me well."

"I was hired into a position that was new and undefined. After half a year there was a huge shakeup from the top down and my position was redefined in a way that did not excite me."

"Built a better synergy between those working on the tech side and those on the business side."
