"I have worked with everis since 2011 and it's a great company to start and develop your skills, but in my current office it's pretty dificult to specialize in the things you want. Also there is too much focus on you growing in management skills but not in technical skills, and it can be seen in the kind of salary you get when going technical"

What do you like about working at everis?

"Working here feels like being on vacation all the time!"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you are ready to take a step back on your career, this startup can be a great choice for you!"

What don't you like about working at everis?

"This company goes by Attitude makes a difference : It is the unprofessional and unethical attitude of management that is leading Everis USA to a complete failure That attitude is whats setting Everis apart from so many well established consulting companies in the USA.Let me elaborate a bit more on some of the comments posted in glassdoor.com :1) Every employee owns everis (in the form of stock) Well this is actually true but ONLY to an extent You must be an Everis employee for at least 3 years (I doubt you could last that longand the company must be able to meet the 5-years profit goal very questionable at this point)2) Unlimited Vacation - take it when you need it - and even Senior Management truly shut off when on holiday (Ok, so unlimited vacation is based on the clients request so if the client needs you during holidays (Christmas, etc) you cant simply take any vacation the only vacation you would have is during August That is because the only client that Everis has in Boston work based on the Spanish summer schedule so you are required to take 2 weeks off during August whether you like it or not at the client request)3) $250 work life balance pay - for child care, or gym membership (per month!) - I rather be paying that out of pocket if Id know I get to work for a company that pays and treats their employees as they deserve.4) Growing company - chance to come in early Save yourselves a headache As long as this company is being managed the way it is now, growing pains will never go away.5) Possibility to travel abroad Absolutely NOT true I can guarantee that 98% of the employees DO NOT TRAVEL ABROAD The rest of (2%) are the Spanish Directors who flight to Spain to visit their families during Holidays Thats how much traveling abroad you can expect here.6) Change in projects means your job can change - stays interesting Unless Everis sells any other work outside Santander Bank In Boston (which they have not been able to achieve it for the past 3 years), you will get stuck with the same project over and over again. Leadership has limited or NO visibility what you do on daily basis their main concern is making profit out your work - no appreciation for your hard work.7) Company really cares about its employees wellbeing The mentoring and counseling concepts, which are well known in most of the reputable and solid US consulting companies, simply dont exist here.In addition to this, Id like to point out few additional things any future employee/client should be aware of :- Pay is way below market, especially if you are being recruited to work in their Boston office as an analyst (which that thats the level they recruit the most entry-level people) dont expect to make more than 50K And if you are ok with that to start your career dont expect to learn anything from any leads or managers, no methodologies, no best practices just few some documentation in Spanish that requires thousands of hours using Google Translate.- Turnover is extremely high. Do not expect to see people in Everis working for more than a year The majority of the people in Everis USA are inexperienced, young graduates who are sadly thrown to things they are not prepared for neither trained for. You will NOT find smart & experienced professionals here The ones that Everis was lucky to recruit were smart enough to jump out of this boat before it sinks! - Everis management apparently dont seem to understand the educational background of many of these young professionals, so if you are a business administration major (with a minor in finance), they think you are a great fit to be a Cobol programmer for their retail banking client Attitude is everything!"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Senior Management must take responsibility and accountability for their own actions and results: Do not expect inexperienced young professionals to do your job: Sell more work. If you came to the US to sell work and expand this company then you should have done your homework first: Understand the US Consulting Market, be proficient in English, understand what drives and motivates employees and clients in the US, and understand your competition. You should have not opened offices in the US assuming that every single client was going to be an easy sell as Santander or any other Spanish retail bank companies you work for.Too many unethical practices that Everis might get away with it overseas, but in the US its just a matter of time, until Everis actually gets audited for so many unethical and illegal practices. If you want to earn the respect of your employees and your clients, you need to start working as a company that understand what it takes to run a business in the US. Lead by sample!Everis should your employees with respect and fairness: Everis USA cannot expect to keep their employees content if they continue to treat their employees with disrespect and unethical practices Treat them all equally good Not only the ones that get to be your right hand and in some instances, more than that... Management cant simply continue ignoring the fact that good and valuable people keep leaving the company on regular basis. Management cant continue blaming this high turnover due to other reasons BUT their poor judgment and management skills.Speaking out in the name of so many (young as well as seasoned professionals) who have fell for the lies and false promises of Everis management, there are some fundamental flaws in this company. Everis could have had a successful story in Spain for the past 16 years but its business model and arrogant attitude of leadership that simply dont blend well with the US work culture. If you ask directors and managers about their career backgrounds, you will soon realize that the majority of them have worked for Santander Bank their entire career. They do not know any other client BUT Santander, they hardly have any other experience in any other industries and have not had exposure to work in any other technology other than Santanders own system As a consultant How can you learn from any of them PMP and Six Sigma NON existent. Yet Their EGO are as big as their words of wisdom during the monthly meetings. At this point in time, the reason why I see Everis still in business in the US is due to the fact that, the only clients they have been able to keep so far are Spanish-based companies. Once these companies are on their own and dont need more programmers/analysts (of more bodies), its questionable what the future of Everis will be."
