"Talk and listen to your employees and members. Don't select the few people you have just employed since becoming president, as they have their own personal agendas."

"Working at a fast paced environment was educational and fun. The people were helpful and eager to help me learn. I felt I could ask any question and my opinion always mattered, and I was taken seriously."

"Show your enthusiasm and your true personality. They thrive on hiring individuals who will break from the mold and show their creativeness and dedication. In the interview show your knowledge of public relations and media advertising yet stay true to yourself. That will get you everywhere at CBS."

"I honestly enjoyed working for CBS, but I wanted more. I want to work in the city and work at a PR firm dealing with finance and economics. I also wanted to work at a company where I had more room for career growth. I would love to work my way up and stay within the same company for my career."

"The management at CBS was wonderful. My personal manager was not only my manager but I considered him a friend. Management was hardworking and dedicated to their employees."

"It's only temporary. Unfortunately this opportunity was only temporary to fill in for someone else."

"Skip It if you don't like being taken advantage off!!"
What don't you like about working at Appreciation Events?
"You spend more then you make on gas, tolls mandatory calls, materials, promotional materials, even copies (It was real creative how they changed the commission structure to make it seem as if they pay for the copies. ) They suck you dry until you succeed or quit!! The evaluation is this company it is a scam. They dangle the carrot in front of you for big opportunity but they don't come through for you. 60+ hours a week, expect you to cover all your own expenses, plus there is no $ guaranteed. Out to make money for themselves."

"Show some value for your people after they have worked there for a month. Maybe then they may last a bit more than a month."

"Be willing and able to interact with many many different public figures who will manage you."

"With all the public figures that have there own businesses they have there own way of wanting to put together an event."

"I don't feel I should give any remakes about the Chamber of Commerce."

What do you like about working at America's Cup?
"opportunity to work in an ever changing environment, and global recognition"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I do not think they are going through any more interviews currently as the lay offs are still under way. My advice would be to enjoy as much as you can of what makes the America's Cup and amazing event, and that would be the people that make it happen and the sailing that is done."
What don't you like about working at America's Cup?
"The company expected too much from the global sailing community and sponsors and I do not think they planned for the possibility that funding would not be as hard as it has been to find in this tough economy"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"My suggestion would be to keep the goals of the company realistic and attainable."
