What do you like about working at Estee Lauder?

"Quarterly sales training, gratis and the large amounts of support from upper management when requested. They give you the freedom to make your strategy plans that work best for your business location, and will provide monthly sales goals to demonstrate growth."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be able to demonstrate your ability to provide serivce and be positive in outlook. Be ready for a strong sales driven environment."

What don't you like about working at Estee Lauder?

"The 30% increase in growth annually is unrealistic. Its all about calling people over and over to see if they want to buy something. It gives the impression that people have unlimited dollar trees they can shake everytime we call to buy something. We are required to recruit from within the store. Women are always annoyed when we approach them during their shopping trip to come to our counter by the lure of a free sample. The uniforms have been atrocious, and usually the butt of jokes within the department. It is never enough, especially when their is high turnover which is the result of store management rather than Lauder, but it makes the goals nearly impossible."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Look for diversity and understand the struggles of business managers when they have limited support from store and rotating employees."

"It was fun! Great way to work in sales, customer service, business, etc and fun at the same time because you were working with cosmetics."

What don't you like about working at Estee Lauder?

"Standing for 8 hours straight."
