What do you like about working at Estee Lauder?
"Quarterly sales training, gratis and the large amounts of support from upper management when requested. They give you the freedom to make your strategy plans that work best for your business location, and will provide monthly sales goals to demonstrate growth."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be able to demonstrate your ability to provide serivce and be positive in outlook. Be ready for a strong sales driven environment."
What don't you like about working at Estee Lauder?
"The 30% increase in growth annually is unrealistic. Its all about calling people over and over to see if they want to buy something. It gives the impression that people have unlimited dollar trees they can shake everytime we call to buy something. We are required to recruit from within the store. Women are always annoyed when we approach them during their shopping trip to come to our counter by the lure of a free sample. The uniforms have been atrocious, and usually the butt of jokes within the department. It is never enough, especially when their is high turnover which is the result of store management rather than Lauder, but it makes the goals nearly impossible."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Look for diversity and understand the struggles of business managers when they have limited support from store and rotating employees."

What do you like about working at Macy's?
"The positive people and trendy atmosphere, and the management are very friendly to their staff."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Great company with a lot of incentives to employees, so stay focused on sales and you'll be fine."
What don't you like about working at Macy's?
"The hours could be scheduled less, but all in all Macy's is a great company to work for."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More training for new staff members, but on the whole they were awesome."

"Love working for Clinique. There isn't much room for advancement."

"Lots of pressure to presale for major events and meet goals over LY numbers."

"The management is wonderful. If I had one suggestion it would be to keep encouraging your CM's and their teams."

"I liked the people I worked with. The product was great. Travel was even fun at time, little ruff at times."

"No longer a line. Look at other options for cosmetics."
What don't you like about working at Prescriptives?
"The upper managers didn't take care of the line very well. Sometimes over looked due to events of the other larger cosmetic companies."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Work more with some of the other lines to improve business. The major 3 (estee, clinic, lancome) are well established."
