EnvisionTec Employee

"PROS: There are some genuinely good, knowledgeable, and friendly people who work here. Exposure to diverse industries and technologies. Appears good on a resume. Difficult to be fired/let go. Many jobs available. "Family" work environment fueled by the shared disdain of their employment. CONS: The majority of employees never see a job description. This definitively translates to an ever increasing work load and responsibilities. Hard work and efficiency goes completely unnoticed and unrewarded. In fact, hard work at EnvisionTEC only results in you acquiring more things to do. Promotions and position changes are extremely rare. Many positions are insultingly underpaid. (>30%) Small bonuses have been distributed in the past, but have since been ended. Minimal benefits, traveling employees are given the cheapest available options. Wage disparity was common in the past, and is likely still occurring. Managers are too preoccupied with day to day operations to be involved with the other employees, and are not allowed the authority to properly do their job. The Human Resources "Department" (one person at most), has been historically either unhelpful or detrimental to your employment."
