"everything else. process, pay, direction are all horrible. The company destroys its most vital resource, people by demotivation, demoralization, and games."

"Serena has good products, a large installed base, they have been around for a while."

"go to ibm or ca. serena's products compete directly with these two giants. most of the big organizations have already selected a technology so very few greenfields."
What don't you like about working at Serena Software?
"Serena management needs to improve. Silver Lake needs to bring a new CEO on board that has the experience to lead a software compnay."

"focus on serena strenght, stop diversification, keep talent, treat people farily, do not treat them as disposable assets."
