"Amkey was a small, family based company, that provided me with experience to step into programming."
What do you like about working at Amkey?
"Being a small company it was nice to be able to speak with virtually any officer in the company to provide suggestions and/or get immediate feedback on any situation."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Since the company no longer exists it is probably a waste of our time to provide any tips."
What don't you like about working at Amkey?
"There was a bit nepotism. Family members were hired for postions that should have been given to outsiders with experience."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The company no longer exists, but if they did still exist, I would suggest that they seek 'experienced' talent."
What do you like about working at Solyndra?
"Very fast moving company, good clear objectives. The description of this company is not right, I did not work for West Valley Engineering, just Solyndra directly. West Valley is a temp agency."
What don't you like about working at Solyndra?
"Very top down command structure. No room for innovation from the engineering contributors. The fast pace can become frantic at times."
What do you like about working at Magna Int'l?
"I am no longer working for Magna - the group was laid off."
What don't you like about working at Sargent Fletcher?
"There is nothing negative about Sargent Fletcher, it was just unfortunate that it relocated out of state."
What do you like about working at Cabletron Systems?
"It was a great place to work and learn. I learned a lot working for Cabletron."
What don't you like about working at Cabletron Systems?
"The only negative thing about Cabletron were the layoffs that happened pretty much evey year due to the industry downturn"
