"Talk to the associates of the store you are interested in working at before committing yourself. Ask questions from the hiring officer of what the management expects from you, and you from them. If they promise anything get it in writing, and have the hiring officer (usually the store manager) sign it to protect yourself."

"I like the great teamwork and great service at Lowe's. They are always taking care of their employees."

"A great amount of theft from either employees or customers would hinder a lead's position with the numbers at the time of inventory."

"Seek undercover agents dressed as regular customers to catch theft."

"Don't hire as many people, and give enough hours to the ones who are there."

"I disliked the hours! Sometimes you close the day getting home around 1:30 a.m. and then have to open at 5 a.m.! I left simply because my body wasn't happy."

"Hire specific people to work opening and closing shifts."
