"I really love the potential (no pun intended) of working in electrical engineering. I like to be able to take my skills from work home and create my own devices to play with. I plan on customizing my house with homemade devices to integrate the whole house to my needs. The only downside so far is when looking for work, companies want an exact fit walking in the door. The expectation to know how to use their version of industry software, or to know multiple job roles to save money."

"Being an artist is unfortunately a very risky field, financially speaking. If you have a creative itch, electrical engineering is a good alternative. It allows you to be creative and see your ideas manifest, and blink and bleep and move, it's awesome. I don't hate anything about being an electrical engineer."
