"Safety was a secondary concern. Operations were where the focus was. Operations had veto power over safety issues."

"I disliked the long periods away from home, and standing in line for everything."

"Build better living quarters for all personnel."

"I liked working with the people. Most had been there as long as I was so it was like family."

"Kraft was a good place, however upper management may not have the clear goals needed to ensure a factory succeeds. Plant management may have the direction, but may have their hands tied with pressure from corporate management."
What don't you like about working at Kraft Foods?
"Being micro-managed. Clear direction and the ability to do my job is what I look for."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be a manager. Let your people do their jobs. Coach them when they are stuck. Give them the direction they need and then let them do the job."
