"Monday morning we worked 2 hours on 4/4 and received an email that told us we were about to be fired and had to sit there while management could finally come on the zoom video to tell us good luck with your next job and you'll be receiving some emails. It was humiliating that everyone we had worked with knew that all the people in this meeting is getting fired right now. But it's okay management says "cause we are taking care of them". If you consider firing pregnant people and people on leave taking care of your former employees then you have done a fantastic job. Anyone looking for a job and especially in the coming months for the next AEP when they need help temporarily to get them through the 6 months that are busy DONT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. There is a reason they offer all these benefits and perks it's because they have burned so many people that they can't get good employees to work for them and once you're in you quickly realize they really don't care about you or their customers it's all about sales and sales is a cutthroat business and this business won't make it much longer because of their simple lack of common decency any human being should have for another they will go under. My heart breaks for the customers who truly believe this company cares for them!"

"Working in the Austin office as a sales rep is an absolute joke. You have completely incompetent management making 6 figures who have no clue how to perform the simplest of job tasks. They ride the success of top performers, but do little to actually mamage. They blame those under them for their failures. It is absolutely beyond me how senior leadership is so blind to what is actually happening. The phone systems are amaturish at best and nobody has a clue how to run a call center. Software glitches are constant and dont even get me started on how incompetent the client scheduling is done. Only place where managers are not required to sell in a sales environment, but they can certainly lecture and blame and point to reports they just discovered after 2 years of doing the same job. Pathetic. The reports we already showed them 2 years ago that at the time they said were inaccurate. In addition to being the only outbound call center, we are also paid lower than the easier inbound centers. The way employees are treated is borerline abusive. They act as if we should be grateful for them doing the minimum required by law in the work place to avoid lawsuits. Absolute dump. I am not a poor performer. I do ok, however for less experienced people the lack of actual leadership is making this place a living hell. I spend half my talking people of the ledge or doing my idiot managers job for them all while they pretend to work. Leadership says one thing, then managers say another. Nobody knows who is correct and it puts employees in a constant state of confusion. Dont bother voicing concern eithet because instead of addressing them, your managers(not one..this is oFFICEWIDE), will ensure you are branded a complainer and will never be allowed to move up. Its a dead end job. Unless you get into management, this place needs to be avoided at all costs. We are treated like indentured servants, being shamed if we take a REQUIRED lunch or breaks, or if we have to go to the doctor."

"I joined eHealth in January of 2017. They took a chance on me after not knowing much about the Health Care industry. I excelled in Small Business Sales and when I realized Medicate was growing, I moved to that department. They have treated me well, but healthcare just isn’t my passion."

"During my time at eHealth, the company was rapidly expanding. While this is great for any company it also can result in a chaotic work environment for its employees."
