Follow their policies written policies and their Mission Statements. If someone is accused of some activity in their review of something illegal or possibly illegal, the employee should have a right to face their accusers, or even what the substance of the accusation is, rather than just putting such a statement in a review. At the minimum, such a statement was slanderous. I was so insulted that the company would allow this behavior that I could not stay with the company. My dignity was violated, my rights as an employee were probably violated, and HR turned a blind eye.
