"Working with a great product that I believed in. I enjoyed working with different people and places everday."

"Study up on Dyson before an interview. Know the James Dyson story and have some knowledge about all Dyson products not just the vacuum."

What don't you like about working at Dyson?

"Field positions have zero work life balance and the lack of concern from field management and corporate is very frustrating. Early years that wasnt an issue since 2009 and beyond that has become a trend with Dyson. Secondly is the HR department, company has grown so fast and some positions have outgrown the employees. There is a lack of responses for time sensitive issues or taking weeks to get answers to issues that need quick responses."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Focus more on the people, thats Dysons biggest asset. Check the pulse more often; knowing what your employees think and feel can be valuable in making sure that your vision is supported by their actions"

"I worked in field sales and can say that Dyson does not pay nearly what other companies do, but you do get a Jeep Patriot for work travel that you can pay $100/mo to use for personal driving as well. The company culture was poor compared to where I have worked previously. No one on my team even spoke to each other. My manager said this was a good thing because we could all figure things out for ourselves us sharing ideas (which is what most teams are encouraged to do, for good reason)."

"Make sure to research the history of the company prior to interviewing and ensure to discuss about turning mistakes into a great experience with a good outcome."

What don't you like about working at Dyson?

"There wasn't many opportunities for internal candidates and there wasn't and coaching for development."

"Spend more time developing employees and make clear goals that are tangible with actions that can be measured."
