What do you like about working at DuPont?

"DuPont was a good company with great people that worked there. The Internal Audit group was close to each other and worked in assigned teams. At the beginning of each year, the Senior Management would assign the audit universe and hand it to the audit managers to coordinate with the plant sites on visiting dates."

What don't you like about working at DuPont?

"There was no variety of audits. It was strictly SOX audits with no special assignments for 4 months of out the year we didn't audit. The way audits were performed was 3 weeks planning, 1 week on site, 1 week wrap up which never gave us enough time on site to obtain all the information. Benefits were cut also."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I would suggest re-instating educational assistance benefits. I would also suggest that the company perform more process improvement audits that gives internal audit more of a chance to help improve the company as opposing to ensure it is SOX compliant only."
