"Ask a lot of questions about the management style there. Make sure you are comfortable working in an engineering-dominated environment."

"Management was very extremely engineering-oriented and not very knowledgeable about quality systems. They need a better balance between quality objectives and business objectives."

"DRS is a big corporation. I learned a lot of calibration technique from the engineer group."

"I had supports from my manager, a person who always guided and taught me when I needed. Also, the engineer group and the Scientist always answered me right away and explained clearly all questions that I asked them when I was testing their new products."

"Quality first; because their products are for defense use. Must have strong knowledge about electronic, optical, and physic before their interviews."

"I have nothing for complain to this company."

"The management team is perfect."

"I loved training the soldiers. As a veteran myself, giving back to the military community was huge for me. DRS is one of the top defense contractors in the country and their focus on delivering quality products to the military made me proud to work for them."

"The job requires personality. Come with a smile on your face, speak clearly and be prepared to see some innovative technology"

What don't you like about working at DRS Technologies?

"The only dislike I had about the company was based on the uncertainty of the industry. The government started cutting back on projects and many people at DRS got laid off. The fear of not knowing day to day if there would be a job available created a tense environment."

"Continue on the same path of understanding employees and their dedication to the company and the loyalty will continue to grow."
