I am a former Chair of Asian Technical Committee (ATC7; Thick Deltaic Deposits) of International Society of Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering (ISSMGE), 2011-2016. His academic and technical career over 25 years has been highly interdisciplinary; authored/co-authored 6 textbooks and over 120 technical papers and presentations in the themes of geotechnical and foundation engineering, geo-environmental engineering, geosynthetics design.
