What do you like about working at DMetrix?

"We were working on cutting edge hardware, doing research and development on things no one else was doing. Working in a small team I had the chance to do everything: firmware, embedded Linux, device drivers, windows UI, web development."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Dmetrix closed up shop in February of 2009."

What don't you like about working at DMetrix?

"This was a small start up that never managed to sell enough products to keep the doors open. Every instrument was rushed and difficult to build and debug. The CEO was replaced half way through my time there and management was always in turmoil."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Listen to your workers, if a product is not ready to be sold, don't force it out the door. A few more months of R&D can save years of headache later."
