Field Technician

"I worked with Dish Network for about 1 year. I enjoy working outdoors and meeting new people every day. My negative thing to say is that I did not feel that I could make a career with Dish Network because there is no room to grow as a professional."

"I worked at Dish Network for 9 months. I would not recommend working at Dish Network as the pay and benefits do not coincide with the assigned work. High stress job in a fast-paced environment."

"Very risk adverse company that does NOT want to change, fails to provide tools or empower its sales force. TOO many cooks in the kitchen creating a cluster.... when decisions are needed. HORRIBLE benefits. Stay away."

Dish Network Employee

"I used to work here and left before Dish began changing after they were listed as one of the worst companies to work for in the U.S. But I still talk to those who work there and Dish if anything has gotten worse. They are constantly changing so employees feel like they can make a difference, make more money for being a great agent, but then they change it again to make sure employees don't make money. And opportunity to move up Nope not close. Even their best agent still gets absolutely zero."

Help Desk Agent

"I've worked for Dish for almost 5 years. I've moved up in several positions. During the most recent change in management, everything went down hill. You would only get promoted if you were friends with the new managers. Good working individuals like me and others had no chance. The favoritism game was played. Lots of company politics reflected poorly on the working atmosphere. The morale was very low."

"Not a very professional place to work. And they take away too many of agents sales for not very good reasons."

"I've worked for Dish Network and I believe is a good company to work for if you are in need of a job - but do not try to make it a career because is not going to pay out."

Forklift Operator

"I've worked for Dish Network for roughly 3 weeks. Working with my coworkers and my supervisor to finish tasks together has been fun. I love being able to work with customers and fellow workers. But when I am left to do my own task alone is as entertaining as working with my coworkers. Everyone is very friendly and are willing to teach you whatever you need to know."

Installation Technician

"I worked for Dish Network for 8 years. Started in 2004. It was not very good at the beginning but started to get organized around 2010. And just like any other company with no union after we get to a good paying level, they hire new staff and we train them and then they let us go."
