"I have worked at DirecTV for a year and half and it has been great experience. I have learned and have been introduced to great individuals to work alongside with. There are always pros and cons at a work place, and the pros do outweigh the cons here!"
"I have worked for DirecTV since 2004. Great company to work for and they take care of their employees."
"I have not found this company to be a great work environment. There are a lot of shady things going on behind curtains"
"DirectV is a good company to work for!!! They love their employees as well as the contractors. They offer technologies, equipment that no company could have to offer. From CRs, ASR9ks, Nexus, spirent, load balancers, they have everything. They have multicasting as well. Supervisors and directors are very approachable and down to earth. Co workers are very professional as well. Team work is the key for all the projects for good completion. They offer good benefits in medical, dental and life insurance."
"Great experience overall. Loved it."
"In my organization, politics are more important than technical or business values. I have seen managers playing games that hurt other groups or the company to better their personal or group agendas."
"When I started working here at DirecTV, it was a handful of managers within the PM group that had complete ownership of their products but as time went on, there was a regime change that consisted of hiring program directors that had NO CLUE as to what we were actually trying to build. As time went on, more and more of the original PM group was discontent with the lack of ownership we had with our original products and we felt we were relegated to paperwork and status reports rather real PM work."
"One of the best companies to work with."
What do you like about working at DirecTV?
"Ultimate Staffing is a contractor to DirecTV, filling both administrative and technical positions as required by market. DirecTV itself is a great company to be associated with, they take care of their people, it's technically challenging and a fun place to work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Make sure you know what you're getting into and that you can do the job."
What don't you like about working at DirecTV?
"It's not a full time position, there are no real benefits as a contractor, but often DirecTV does hire from its contractor technical pool, so, it's worth the wait."

"Keep up the good work."
