What do you like about working at American Quarter Horse Association?
"We had the tools to do a great job. There was budget, but no support from the top. Users wanted more and would go outside to get it. IT department was actually two departments and there was not working relationship between them."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Hope you like good ol' boy politics.. Keep you head down low and avoid getting pulled into a 'click'. There are strangle communication channels and too many agendas."
What don't you like about working at American Quarter Horse Association?
"No vision... CEO thinks Facebook is a fad, and asked why he'd want an iPad when one was given to him."

"Develop a vision and treat people like they are an import part of your mission."

"The company owners dissolved the station 3 months after I left."

"the CEO's control issues. A husband and wife team arrived every day stoned. He would make inappropriate remarks and she would verbally attack me for his actions."

"I would say that respect is a 2 way street."

"What I enjoyed most about working for Salem is being given a platform to implement new ideas to aid the sales staff with revenue generation and boosting staff morale."
What don't you like about working at Salem Communications?
"Unfortunately, the company decided to sale its radio cluster in the Jacksonville market before we could truly tap into our core audience potential. That being said, I dislike not having an opportunity to see how great a station we could've become in the market."

"The suggestions I'd offer to the management of Salem Communications would be to conduct more performance reviews for its staff."
