"I love being a developer. It's a part of who I am now; jokes and puns between friends and co-workers almost always have a science/computer-based theme. I consider myself a computer nerd who codes for fun and always looks for something new to learn."

"I love the problem solving aspect of development. Being constantly challenged to learn new techniques, and techniques help keep it fresh and exciting. What I like least about being a developer is sitting in front of the computer all day can be tiring. I enjoy walking around to get the blood flowing and give myself time to think."

"I love creating an innovative solution that works beyond anybody's expectations, fast, efficient, elegant, beautiful and ingenious. When you first make your brain child hum, there is an exhilarating feeling that drives you to do more of it. Working at a computer all day, working with management, and working in an office space for so many hours makes your senses go numb, and you grow cold and eerily comfortable with that."

"I love being a developer and solving problems. My only gripe is that bad programmers are able to stay in an office and play office politics instead of actually programming.Instead of learning from better coworkers, bad programmers will just manipulate unintelligent managers to keep their position. Avoid businesses where your manager is a failed programmer. He will be resentful if you actually succeed in your position."
