What do you like about working at DeSoto County School District?
"Desoto County was where I began my teaching career and I loved the entire 13 years in which I taught in that district. The school system was in an economically disadvantaged area so it was particularly rewarding to teach these children. In fact, I think it was the challenge of teaching these students that inspired me to not give up on any student and to keep trying until you find the right formula."
What don't you like about working at DeSoto County School District?
"I wish they had added another elementary school because we had about ten teachers at each grade level, making it sometimes difficult to do certain activities."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would suggest that they build an additional school so that the school enviroment could be smaller and more welcoming."
