"Growth opportunities are pretty less compared to industry standards. Transparency of management is less."

What do you like about working at JACAM Chemicals?
"I love the actual work, the culture, and the people. No two days are the same and I have the freedom to be as hands on as I want to be."
What don't you like about working at JACAM Chemicals?
"There is nowhere to move up within the company as it is such a small company and in such a small town."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"The only advice I have is to be more open to creative ideas within the company."
What do you like about working at Honda Motor?
"job security, hard to get fired, decent pay, benefits, additional 2 weeks off for shutdown through the year. Pretty good annual bonuses"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If your a small town guy and can have the basic life this is the job for you. Its not a bad job with decent pay and decent benefits. I cant complain too much, but now with a growing family its getting harder and harder. One of the best first time engineer jobs you can get around Columbus Ohio, but in the long run you will be making the same pay as a first time engineer."
What don't you like about working at Honda Motor?
"Flex time is something that will never happen. Rule and rule are made to keep engineers in line as if were children, such as no cups or liquids at your desk, 10 minutes break time or can get written up. More than 95% of work given is not innovated,it basically get one thing down and move on to the next job the work is already there. Have to keep track of hours and where we are spending them. Watched like a hawk on budgets we are charging time to, and have to explain why I go over on hours. The whole place works on a constant blame game before anything gets done. I constantly get asked why am I over hours on a project, than down the road asked why am I not working enough overtime.. Management flow makes no sense as they all move around every year. And we get a a personal progress review that pretty much let much lets management tell us how they feel about us. Raises are a joke and promotions are even a bigger joke, and pretty much given depending on what your boss thinks of you. I am making the same amount of money as my bosses base salary and he has 20 years experience on me. Decent job, and couldn't get fired no matter how bad I mess up."

"Focus on the morale of my employees, Not be so hard on little things that dont matter in the work space."
What do you like about working at Elster AMCO Water?
"Flexibility. They have been a great company to work for and with."

"Yes. Wait until the market turns and try to get on board. :)"

"They are losing down the facility and moving to it Mexico."

"Nothing. I think they are doing a great job currently."

"Nothing much really, Greensboro doesn't have much going for it but the coast or mountains are only a weekend away"

"Hire more direct people, contract labor is not as long term thinking as direct labor"

"Prepare the basic concepts. Strong in basic is more important. Able to work in team."

"Technology, advanced equipment, large scale projects. Large facility, the people."

"Ask all the questions you can, make sure everything is in writing, be careful take it if you have no other options."
What don't you like about working at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory?
"No room for growth, managers don't retire, engineers don't do much and reap all benefits of designers work. Building is in shambles except for higher ups. No diversity."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Change everything and actually do some work, it is like the DMV, things take months to progress, no one cares except for their own job. More diversity especially in management roles."

"Freedom to work flexible schedule. Ability to contribute to what work the company receives."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Take what is told to you with a grain of salt. Management is egocentric and likes to be stroked. They are self appointed mentors but don't necessarily have the qualifications fill that role. If you challege ambiguity, they tend to claim to be encouragers as an excuse to tell an untruth. The company can be fun to work for if you watch your step and your back."
What don't you like about working at Lewis Innovative Technologies?
"Management is unprofessional and does not put forth a professional front to customers. Company too dependent on Good-ole-boy philosophy to obtain work. Management would praise employees to their face and then talke very negatively behind their back."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Be up front with employees, do not lie, don't talk about them in front of peers in a negative light. Don't be so hypocritical. Do what you say you will."
What do you like about working at General Motors?
"I like the environment and the vehicles. Cars are what I like to do, and something I am always looking to improve."

"Be honest, work hard, and always remember that it is a company that really represents the core values of honesty, non-discrimination, and effort."
What don't you like about working at General Motors?
"I dislike the growth potential. The problem is that, due to the bankruptcy, GM has slowed its programs in Mexico, basically removing the possibility of growing within GM more than what the US can grow. At this point, even the temporal assignments are almost inexistent and are almost unique for the US positions."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"None. They are doing their best to keep the talent, and trying to promote my efforts as much as possible. The problem is, I really don't want to wait until GM thinks it's okay for the Mexico unit to grow again."
