"some of the people are great and some managers will treat you like a professional"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"take the job only if you have no other option and get all the pay you can up front because you want get a pay increase for 5 years, even if you're working 60 hours a week, and then only if you're lucky. You'll have to get other job offers to force a pay increase out of them."

What don't you like about working at Descartes?

"expect a raise to be 5 years apart and some managers don't care if you die working so long as you are making them look good. These managers are paranoid about their own jobs since layoffs happen almost every quarter."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"at least act like you need employees rather than treat them like furniture."
