"I have taught at DePaul since 2009. They show more care for their adjunct faculty than any other university with which I have been associated. One has a great deal of freedom on the choice of curriculum and manner of presentation. Students are accustomed to and welcoming of adjunct faculty who are experts in their field, instead of looking at things from an exclusively academic and theoretical point of view."
"DePaul University is committed to its students. It works closely with the professional community to provide practical industry experience and a strong academic foundation."

"It is a very nice place to work as long as one can finish their work. DePaul environment is pretty relaxed and it's not fast paced. If someone looking for slow work environment then consider DePaul. Should be the best place to work.Student workers while attending school, they should work in school, which helps tremendously with school work, because as I mentioned it is a very slow paced environment, so students can get there homework done."
"This is the first work place I can work with a peace of mind. But sometimes I need a little more challenge."

"It's an awesome place to work in. The university offers you the opportunity to study free of charge while you work for them which is a plus, plus bonus. I love my supervisor and my workmates."

What don't you like about working at DePaul University?
"5 bosses in 2 years. Chaos. Absolute chaos. Bosses with absolute job security , an inability to explain what they want, and a god complex. Well, that was 2 of the 5. One other was a retired three star general - and he was the one you could actually have a discussion with to request clarification. Then for awhile, with no warning or time to properly prepare, we had no boss at all."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"In my particular department, I think the only way to make improvements to the working environment would be to tell the faculty that they are not gods and can't do anything and everything they want. After that, if would be good if he would make a decision on how things would move forward. I was there for two years and had 5 different bosses, who each too us in entirely different direction without warning or explanation, then got angry with us when we couldn't figure out what anyone wanted from us, or how to keep from being blamed for it all."
