"I worked for this company for temporary project length of 3 months. It was specific to third party tools integration for SharePoint. I did not see much anticipated work being done or planned for the project to be completed successfully, lack of governance and scope of the project never being defined as it's required."

"Ask specific questions about the person who preceded you in the position, why they left or if they were promoted. Ask how long they have been with the agency in their current position. Most in management positions are new to the agency or to the position."

What don't you like about working at Department of Corrections?

"The change in administration created a hostile work environment. Positions and employee qualifications were no longer evaluated in a logical manner, but rather based on political affiliations and favoritism."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"The management that retained their positions and obtained promotions did so without merit but rather by turning every management decision into a way of advancing those with similar political viewpoints and personal preferences."
