"Company is now owned by a Hedge fund who refuses to re-channel funds back into the company. All design work is outsourced. Layoffs started in 2001 and continue today. Sinking Ship."

"I worked for The Denver Post for 14 years. I loved my job, and thank goodness, because I worked for 10 different people (each with their own management style). Advertising was definitely the fun department as they "ruled" over all decisions. It was a stimulating environment that required finding problems quickly but was very slow to react. There wasn't an overall goal and/or vision for many of the years. When internal focus groups were formed it made for positive morale but wasn't there the last 2-3 years."
