"The amount of BS of customers cussing at an associate over a $1 coupon, or having to abide by the laws that CVS created, with that one poor coworker having to handle all of the backlash with minimal support is unreal. The Ethics line is there to assist, and sometimes the coworkers will be nice, but there are also petty experiences with workers and customers that only someone with tough skin can handle. I highly recommend someone who is a natural customer service representative with a high tolerance for pain is a perfect fit for this job, in any position. Personal experiences have been stress, anxiety, and depression with the company, with occasional support from other coworkers. Even some coworkers can turn out to be mentally and physically draining for a person, even if they're used to it. In positives, it does help toughen and build someone's tolerance for pain, in addition to learning management and pharmacist skills with nice benefits."
"Work-life balance isn't considered for hourly employees. Store managers lie about the schedule they are supposed to work 2 nights, schedule DL shows it but they don't do it. They either have another supervisor and cashier on schedule so they can leave or switch with a supervisor. If the pharmacy makes all the money why is the front store open longer hours and every holiday? Managers pit employees against each other with very outdated equipment."
"I have managed various CVS stores, especially pharmacies by working with challenges and meeting business expectations. My supervisor has also recognized me for all years for all the great work I do to keep the scripts count high and provide the best customer service."
"worked with CVS since november 2020"
"good compensation & benefits, fast paced work environment"
"It is the best job I have ever had. Working at home gave me the opportunity as a single mom to manage personal and professional commitments with ease."
"This company cheats you out of your pay. I never received my retro active pay for the time that I covered for all the stores and Tracy didn't pay me when I became a licensed pharmacist. She continued to pay me as an intern and always lied about correcting it. There is also a racist Pharmacy DM who called me after seeing my application. He kept calling me Tran when there is no R in my name. I corrected him, but he didn't stop. Also, my shift ended at 8 am and one of the Pharmacist who should have shown up at that time didn't show up until 9:30am. Of course I didn't get paid for it."
"I’m currently working in CVS Health. Great working environment. Everyone is respectful and friendly. They’re teamwork. Cons: I’ll give 3 stars to the training. They leave you alone the first day. They don’t put one person to train you. Everyone is training you. No stability."
"Great company."
"I have worked in several different business domains and several companies. CVS Health stands out in helping taking care of their customers. IT can do better job in adopting newer technologies, bit slow in that aspect, but making some progress. Red Tapes can be cutdown for faster delivery."
