"I have been working for Cummins Onan of Elkhart for 5 years now. Management, leadership team, and lower management is a joke. Hard working employees are treated very poorly while those that come in drunk, high, or just lazy and sleep on the job are promoted. Advancement within the company is not going to happen. The only good thing that I can say is the benefits are not that bad and you get them as soon as you are hired on. That however can take forever. I have no opinion of the current CEO. "Cummins like every thing else in this world is not what it used to be. Anybody that has a new product knows this to be true, or will soon find out. They don't make them like they use to. They overwork their employees and expect so much out of them, with ridiculous goals. The employees do not receive anything special for their hard work. If you could see what some of the faults found that are passed you wouldn't want one of these engines. But Cummins will try to deny this and just hope it goes away. There are still some good products in this world. Do your research. And sometimes the best item isn't always high in price."
