3.2I have worked with CSULA since 2007. I have held many positions from Lab Technician, Facilitator, Tutor, Volunteer, and Researcher. It is a great laid back environment where the professors and faculty understand that you are a student and try to work with your schedules. There is a cap on the amount of hours that can be worked if you are a student, and they only pay once a month. If you can live with that you will be more than happy working at CSULA.
3.1I started working here in Feb 2011 as a volunteer. After six months I was pushed to be hired by the acting team lead. After his departure and a few other leads I took the reigns of the projects, being an undergrad. There are goods and bads to working here but for the most part it's research on new technologies, which I actually enjoy.
3.9I have worked for CSULA since August 2016 as a part time faculty. I have taught a variety of chemistry courses, including but limited to, Organic Chemistry Series, General Chemistry for Science Majors, General Chemistry for Mechanical Engineers, Chemistry for Health and Nursing Majors, Introduction to General Chemistry and Molecules Matter. Teaching there has been a great addition to my work experience.
