"I have worked for the department for 20 years. I have been assigned multiple different positions and gained countless experiences. The department has room for growth and consistently trains its employees for situations out of the norm."

"I have worked for the Auditor-Controller/Treasurer/Tax Collector for the County of San Bernardino since 2018. I have found the culture to be enjoyable and pleasant however, the management is severely lacking. I have found working for an elected official's office to be more demanding and 'cut throat' than other departments I have previously worked for. While there is room for growth in this department, the areas or fields are very specific and require exact skills."

"Pros: More holidays and vac. days than most companies and flexible working schedules. Programmers can telecommute 2-3 days a week. Cons: Rarely any budget for training/developer conferences. The technology is usually a couple years behind the curve."
