Clinical Data Manager

"I like CORAM, it's a good company. It just happens to be dealing with a major reorganization related to it's acquistion by Blackstone Group."

What do you like about working at Coram Specialty Infusion Services?

"CORAM is well staffed with many capable professionals, good solid upper management that is in touch with the employees, and a sincere patient centric corporate culture."

What don't you like about working at Coram Specialty Infusion Services?

"Like any large corporate institution, it is sometimes frustrating to move your project forward because of the myriad of other priorities that occupy the upper management. Their heart and heads are in the right mindset, with good vision, but they all have too much to deal with. Basically, it's like drinking from a fire hose."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think they know this already, but it never hurts to say it again. There is a tremendous amount of committed, loyal talent working for you. Listen to what they have to say, because they have the answers to most of the problems within the company. Also, when an executive position opens, do your damnest to promote from within, even if there is a slightly better outside candidate. The CORAM experience that the insider brings to the corporate offices will far out weigh any anticipated advantage an outsider will bring to the company table."
