"A great place to work, the only negative was that the overall annual operating budget should have been greater in comparison to similiar cvb's and major cities."
What do you like about working at City of New York?
"Having the opportunity to work with every given industry under the sun and meeting client's thereof expectations (in most instances, superceding their expectations). Coupled with the opportunity to work on some historic events (i.e. World Economic Forum, supporting 9/11 relief workers and volunteers along with the city's OEM) and promotions (Paint the Town, Restaurant Week), working for this organization was a very fullfilling experience."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Be prepared for a wonderful career adventure in one of the greatest cities in the world; be true to your professional duties and perform customer service with utmost confidence, care and sincerity."
What don't you like about working at City of New York?
"Not having the budget capabilities that similiar cities and cvb's have to fullfill and implement more programs and promotions that could have further propelled NYC as the premier leisure and business travel destination of the world."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Continue the formula that kept employees performing at maximum output for productivity and team support (kudos to then President and CEO Cristyne Lategano Nicholas); support your staff and keep in constant communication with your clientele and members."
