"To many people involve in a project and finding errors on the estimating that comes back to the state."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay more attention to the estimating department and go on the field to get a better feel on what they are estimating."

What do you like about working at Symantec?
"At first it was great but as BV took over there was definite favoritism by management. We were LP2A employees & management was from B& H; both acquired by BV around the same time. However prejudice existed by B&H personnel against LP2A employees & we were laid off."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't!"
What don't you like about working at Symantec?
"They failed to maintain Public Works Division & contracts with lots of municipalities losing money & jobs & creating massive layoffs or quality people leaving."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Get back to the Family Atmosphere that was originally there. Accept employee input. Put the trust back in the job & the people where the relationship has become estranged."

"I was a seasonal employee. The system is set up to have seasonal employees wait for several years before gaining fulltime status."

"Larger offices/workspaces for all employees."
