"I love the culture of the company as a whole. The environment has fostered growth and given opportunities when other companies might not take the time to consider skills not necessarily tied to formal education."

"Go in presenting your best self, but also realize that the company looks beyond the tangibles of education and experience to look for what you, as an individual, have to offer."
What don't you like about working at Amegy Bank?
"I have not enjoyed instances of personal misunderstandings or personal issues negatively impacting the team work environment."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Encourage employees to leave personal issues at home and seek to work well within a team structure."
What do you like about working at Community Health Systems?
"Nothing, I wake up at night dreading going in to work."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I hope you know somebody high up in the organization. Executives just show up with opportunities not offered to long-time employees. Executives find their executive friends jobs. Also, there is no reasoning to how some others advance. Complete idiots are advanced when coworkers know they should be fired instead. Talk a good game and you'll impress somebody."
What don't you like about working at Community Health Systems?
"It's all about money. Even employee satisfaction and customer service initiatives come back to the almighty dollar. Nothing is done for altruistic reasons. It's all $$$$$$$$$$$."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Major culture change, staff feels threatened all the time. Human resources are spread so thin in areas that quality work product is impossible. No one is happy here."

What do you like about working at Ameriprise Financial?
"In you are looking for an entry into the world of financial services, Ameriprise is an excellent place to begin a career. Training and personal development are top notch at the entry level to mid management positions, and its possible to gain a great deal of experience by moving within the firm's many business lines."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If possible, make a connection with a current employee of the firm so you can be referred with an open position. Referrals are taken pretty seriously at Ameriprise and candidates who were recommended by existing employees often get looked at first."
What don't you like about working at Ameriprise Financial?
"Upon reaching a middle management level position, additional career growth is pretty limited. Upper level positions (VP and above) are often filled through external searches and compensation packages are based on midwest salary data (low compared to East / West coast firms). As a result, the firm pays a premium to replace lost talent instead of promoting from within and paying more competatively."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"If the greatest asset of the firm is its people (a stated value of management in company materials), it would be wise to increase that investment to retain talent and promote from within for higher level positions as opposed to getting talent walk out the door and paying more to replace with some hot prospect from outside the firm."

"Great place for growth and benefits with no waiting period."

"If you are interviewing for this position be sure to brush up on the background. (Patriot Act)"

"I do not have any dislikes working with the company at this time."

"My suggestion for management is that I am readyfor the challege."

"Not being micro-managed and having access to executive management easily."

"Be ready to create your own area, we have nobody who has managed or is organized in the place."

"No organization, am completely on my own with my workload, have no organizational leadership."

"Would run the company less like a small business and would merge the company with a larger entity."

"Disposal to cooperate, teamwork and always open to change, the growth of the company will accompany your growth and development."

"Sometimes some decisions and procedures take a long time that large companies are forced to comply."

"Who knows the procedures he oversees, who can work in teams when something unexpected happens, know pass up and down the ideas and so maintain adequate communications line."
