What do you like about working at Trail Riders Transport?
"I honestly can't respond to this question, as I can't make a living here."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Yes, understand very carefully that they are not a organized company, and they don't want to pay for employees time and services until they get paid from their contracts, I am out over 60 days on many invoices"
What don't you like about working at Trail Riders Transport?
"I'm not getting paid in a timely manner, things are not communicated well at all."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Listening to others suggestions instead of ignoring about giving insight of experience of how to set up a system that works for scheduling, payroll, proper pay methods"

"The people who I work with and enjoy a new hobby."

"Always ask questions. What you don't know can be very bad. Repetition can be tedious but effective."
What don't you like about working at AutoZone?
"There are instances where we are understaffed. Not knowing where a part is."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Hire a new driver. Shops are keen to getting their orders on time. If we don't, the competition will."

"The amount of average daily income was pretty good; but becoming less monthly."

"One must have thick skin to endure poor treatment from dispatchers and management.."

"How disrespectful employees are treated dispatchers and management on a daily basis."

What do you like about working at AutoZone?
"It is good for people in college who need a part time job. It is virtually economy safe."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I would say just to be honest with the person interviewing and expect an extensive background check that will take 5 to 6 weeks even after they decide to hire you."
What don't you like about working at AutoZone?
"For a fortune 500 company that is rapidly expanding, I feel that the compensation could be a little better."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Actually, my immediate store manager at Autozone was very professional but I delivered auto parts to many stores and some managers were unorganized and didn't seem to care about the sometimes rude demeanor of their employees to customers. Furthermore, I once witnessed my store manager get yelled at by a district manager who used profanity toward him in front of other employees and even a few customers. I was appalled and felt it was an extremely unprofessional act of conduct against another member of the Autozone family."

"95% drop and hook, get in good with a fleet manager, and drive until the tires fall off!"
What do you like about working at Stevens Transport?
"I enjoyed the comraderie that the drivers had amongst themselves. Not to mention the fact that I got paid to see the country. I can honestly say... One of the easiest jobs in the world. The only part to consider, is the long hours on the road.. Got to make it intresting somehow."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Have your CDL pre-employment. Don't go through the school, hoping to get your CDL, as it's very expensive if you can't afford to reimburse the loan. Be prepared to be gone from home for LONG periods of time, and expect to work under serious time constraints while maintaining the most professional demeanor."
What don't you like about working at Stevens Transport?
"I believe that the company could have handled the attention to detail when it concerned the drivers allocated time off. There were periods of time, where I was out on the road for more than 3 months, and didn't get the opportunity to take time off. And when I had the opportunity, I was in Canada, or some distant location away from home. I think the logistics could be ALOT better, considering that they DO what is called a RE-POWER, alot. A driver runs a load as far as he can get it, and if he runs out of hours, they transfer the trailer to another tractor whose driver has the hours to make the destination. That way, the load gets to the reciever. For a while.. I was refered to as the RE-POWER KING."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Accident prevention wouldn't be such a big concern if all the drivers trucks were equipped with engine exhaust brakes, it would provide a necessary safety cushion for the company, and would prevent the spending of MILLIONS in accident damage control."

"That there was hiring for help because most of the time I was working by self and rarely get a lunch break."

"Hire more people and get a schedule planner"
