Most supervisors are good, but once you get into a wrong supervisor, you are demotivated forever because your good work will never be recognized and performance appraisal will go bad. Appraisal process doesn't depend on performance, it depends on the relationship with immediate supervisor. If immediate supervisor you get has no knowledge, then you cannot work."
